Same Same but Different

I made one cap sleeve lattice top for me and had just enough yarn to make a tiny one for this little person. Arya and Auntie are now matching.

I made the top for Arya by adjusting the pattern as follows:

Materials
Light weight yarns of two different colours

US #5 circular needle

CO 54 stitches

For 2 inches rib patter as follows
Row 1: KKP
Row 2: PPK

Eyelit row as per Purl Bee

Next, continue in stockinette stitch until piece measures desired length (for Arya I did 7 inches)

Switch Colours and do the Lattice Stitch as per Purl Bee

Lattice Row 1 (WS): K1, *yo, k2tog, repeat from * to end.

Lattice Row 2 (RS): Knit.

Lattice Row 3 (WS): K2, *yo, k2tog, repeat from * to last stitch, k1.

Lattice Row 4 (RS): Knit.

Neck Cast on and off rows need to be done in pattern:

Neck Cast off Row: K1, (yo, k2tog)6 times COff 30 K1, (yo, k2tog)6 more times
Neck Cast on Row: K12 Cable Cast on 30 K12

Now match the back with the lattice in grey and the stockinette stitch in blue. You can then sew up the sides leaving room for the arms.
